Voici un certain temps qu’on ne vous en parlait plus. Normal, les loulous du Sound Central festival bossaient (oui, ça leur arrive) dans l’ombre à préparer la suite.
Déjà et c’est un peu normal parce qu’elle va avoir lieu en mai, donc faut pas trop tarder, les orgas préparent la nouvelle session du festival. Et les ambassades s’activent qui épaulent, entrent en partenariat, exemple celle de Hollande qui va soutenir la 3eme édition –le contrat vient d’être signé – ou celle de Pologne qui va faire venir un artiste – Masala Sound system pour ne pas le nommer. On attend l’annonce du line up. Stay tune !
Mais il n’y a pas que ça. En effet la SCF team a eu une idée assez ingénieuse qui constitue une suite assez inattendue mais finalement pleine de sens et qui réveille les racines du rock : le truck fest ! Photo :
Vous avez pigé. Un camion scène à balader de village en village pour essaimer la bonne parole rock en dehors de la capitale. C’est sportif, risqué, assez jouissif … et ça reprend la grande tradition des artistes itinérants. Et c’est pas facile à bouger vu la configuration climatique (ouep y a pas que chez nous qu’il neige) :

Sound Central Festival: Music out of Kabul!
it’s been a certain time we don’t speak of them. But Sound Central festival guys have stayed in shadom in order to prepare next festival, happening in May. So there’s a lot of things to do,
and embassies are a great support, creating partnerships, such as the Ditch ambassy that will support the 3rd edition – the contract has been signed – or that of Poland, which will bring an artist – Masala Sound system. We expect the announcement of the line up soon. Stay tune!
But there is something else. The SCF team had a pretty ingenious idea with a rather unexpected result, making sense and respecting the spirit of rock’n roll : the truck fest! Picture, please :
You got it. A Truck with scene riding from village to village to swarm the holy spirit of rock outside the capital. This is sport, risky, quite enjoyable … and it respects the great tradition of itinerant artists. And it is not easy to move in this horrible weather (yep there is snow in Afghanistan, exactly like in France):
